Telepsychiatry

Care that meets you where you are.

A patient in a private room during a secure telepsychiatry visit

Getting psychiatric care should not require rearranging your entire day around a waiting room.

Avenelle provides psychiatric care through secure telehealth, allowing you to meet with your clinician from the privacy and familiarity of your own space while maintaining the thoughtful conversation and individualized attention that meaningful psychiatric care requires.

Psychiatric care, without the commute.

Telepsychiatry can make ongoing care easier to incorporate into everyday life, particularly for patients balancing work, school, parenting, transportation, or long distances from psychiatric services.

Depending on your clinical needs, virtual care may include initial psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up appointments, assessment of mood and anxiety symptoms, ADHD and attention-related care, autism-informed psychiatric care, child and adolescent psychiatric care, addiction and recovery support when appropriate, and coordination of care when clinically indicated.

What does a virtual appointment feel like?

Much like an in-person psychiatric visit, we talk. We discuss how you’ve been feeling, what’s changed, how treatment is working, whether you’re experiencing side effects, and what concerns or questions you have.

Telehealth changes where the conversation happens, not the importance of the conversation.

For the best experience, join from a private location with a reliable internet connection whenever possible.

Where can I receive care?

Avenelle currently provides telehealth psychiatric services to eligible patients located in Texas, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada.

A note about location

You must be physically located in a state where your Avenelle clinician is authorized to practice at the time of your appointment. Availability of particular services or medications may also vary based on state law, clinical appropriateness, and applicable prescribing requirements.
