Our services
Psychiatric evaluation and ongoing care for children, adolescents, and adults. Visits are by telehealth in Texas, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada.

The first visit is an unhurried assessment: history, current symptoms, safety, functioning, prior treatment, and goals. A plan follows the evaluation. A first visit does not guarantee medication or paperwork.

When medication is appropriate, we review options, expected benefit, side effects, and follow-up. Plans are adjusted based on response, tolerability, and safety.

Evaluation and treatment that consider attention, sleep, anxiety, mood, and daily demands at school or work. Documentation for accommodations is completed only when clinically supported.

Ongoing psychiatric care for depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and sleep concerns, with collaboration when therapy or other supports are needed.

Care for children and teens. Parent or guardian involvement and consent follow age, clinical circumstances, and state law. Adolescents may have appropriate private time with the clinician.

Psychiatric care for autistic and neurodivergent patients, including support for co-occurring attention, mood, anxiety, sleep, and behavioral concerns. This is not a standalone comprehensive autism diagnostic program.

Psychiatric evaluation and medication management for substance use concerns when that care is appropriate in an outpatient telehealth setting. Avenelle is not a detox, residential, or emergency program.
